Tony is a result oriented leader and educator with more than 15 years of experience as a senior manager in behavioral healthcare. He has expertise in grant management, organizational structure, strategic planning, board development and governance. He has honed his skills at a variety of nonprofits, governmental and voluntary organizations and within his church, to build leaders, to communicate vision, to build coalitions and to guide organizations to success.
Tony has a strong passion for leadership development and is the founder and lead coach of Upward Edge. He began blogging about leadership and his faith journey since January 2009.
Tony has masters degrees in Community/Clinical Psychology and in Business Administration; has attended various leadership seminars and is an avid researcher and reader of leadership development materials.
Jim is an inspirational speaker, preacher, and teacher. As a former small business owner and minister he has extensive experience in both business and faith communities. He is a dynamic speaker and organizational motivator, a seasoned “Small Groups” coach and facilitator, who has developed training workshops and seminars.
Jim has a Masters of Divinity degree from The Samuel DeWitt School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Va. He continues to attend workshops, and seminars that further his education and broaden his expertise
