Below are statements taken from one of John Olsteen’s books; you may be familiar with the statements. These statements were affirmations for me during a dark time in my life and I want to share these affirmations with you. I also want to share with you scriptures that each statement quickly brought to mind. So think of this as a gift of appreciation and use them when you need to and use them often.
God we know that you are at work in our lives. We know that we are one day closer to our miracle. We know that “your timing is perfect,” so we are going to stay in an attitude of faith & keep trusting YOU to do what is best. (I hear the 23rd Psalms)We will live with an attitude of faith even during our DARKEST HOURS. (I hear Roman 8:26-37)
If we don’t have hope, we don’t have faith. If we don’t have faith, we can’t please God and we want see God’s power revealed in our lives. We must keep hope alive in our hearts. We will never give up our DREAMS. We will not allow discouragement or other setbacks keep us from believing what GOD has said about us.
“He that began a good work in us will continue to perform it until it’s perfectly complete.” (Philippians 1:6).God wants to do a NEW THING in our lives. We want limit God with small thinking. (I hear Philippians 3: 12-14)
